Memphis Stone & Gravel announced the appointment of Scott Jefferies to assistant superintendent of wash plants.
“We are excited to have Scott joining our family of companies in this role,” said John Paul Finerson, vice president of production. “He brings several decade’s worth of industry experience with him. In addition, Scott’s personal values will mesh well with our culture and core values.”
In this position, Jefferies will initially focus on familiarizing himself with the various functions and distinctive culture of the company. He will collaborate with other leaders Eddie Ragsdale, superintendent, and Henry Reed, assistant superintendent, in overseeing the comprehensive operations of Memphis Stone & Gravel through the lens of the family of companies’ core values.
Other responsibilities will include coordination of day-to-day production schedules, overseeing both plant inspection and maintenance adherence, actively contributing to the team’s overall safety culture, and much more. Jefferies joins the team with more than 34 years of service in the industry.
