J&R Sand and Gravel, Ava., Mo., was featured as part of a special Buy Missouri promotional video series by KOLR-TV, Springfield, Mo.
J&R Sand and Gravel is a family owned and operated aggregate-materials operation. The plant was established in 2014 by John Bryan, who has more than 25 years of experience in construction management and has worked on projects in more than 30 countries. His mission was, and continues to be, to deliver naturally beautiful sand and stone at affordable prices for construction and landscaping projects big or small.
“J&R began as only a quarry on our land, mainly selling aggregate materials in bulk to concrete and landscaping companies,” the company stated. “However, we’ve grown quickly. After bringing our product bagging process in-house in 2021, we have expanded our clientele to retail stores all over the state of Missouri. Construction and landscaping companies, retail stores and the people who buy our sand and gravel from the stores all love our products because of the quality of our product and customer support.”
