LiuGong North America recently welcomed two construction equipment distributors to its growing dealer lineup: Bristol, Pa.-based Modern Group and Sheridan, Ark.-based Crouse Equipment.
Founded in 1946, Modern Group has become a premium industrial equipment distributor and service provider in the Mid-Atlantic region, with eight locations across New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland.
Modern Group President and CEO Paul Farrell said LiuGong’s excellent reputation for quality equipment and service, along with their team of experienced, responsive industry professionals were key reasons for the partnership.
“Modern Group will play a pivotal role within our growth both in this region and for our dealer network,” LiuGong North America President Andrew Ryan said. “We are thankful that we have reached this agreement and look forward to working with them moving forward.”
With the Crouse Equipment addition, LiuGong introduces its brand to Arkansas customers for the first time. Crouse will sell both the manufacturer’s excavators and wheel loaders.
Crouse Equipment President Dean Crouse hailed the direct relationship in working with LiuGong’s dealer support team as one of the key reasons for the new agreement.
“They’ve been very open and forthcoming and answering any concerns or questions,” he explained. “There’s a group here that is wanting to grow. They are open-minded and listen and address concerns that their dealers have. And I really think that’s the direction they’re going to be headed.”
