GCAA Board of Directors Holds Meeting

On Dec. 8, the Georgia Construction Aggregate Association (GCAA) board of directors held its final meeting of the year. This annual event was held at the Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek, Ga. Guests for the meeting included: Kade Cullefer, Troutman Pepper Strategies, Jeffrey Trapnell, Morgan Stanley and the luncheon speaker was Josh Waller, policy director for the Georgia Department of Transportation.

In addition, Jeff Wansley, GCAA executive director, gave a year-end update on the association and goals for 2024; and Terry Mathews, Mathews & Maxwell, gave an update on the Georgia General Assembly Special Session on redistricting.

Attendees for the board meeting included Bart Boyd – Summit Materials, Joe Carnahan – Luck Stone, Greg Carroll – TEC, Scott Dickson – Heidelberg Materials, Doug Glaze – NorX, Travis Miller – Martin Marietta, Scott Mulkey – Yancey Brothers, Ron de Santos – Junction City Mining, Brad Smith – Foley Products, David Stewart – Midsouth/CRH and Dean Sunas – Vulcan Materials.
