Volvo Construction Equipment will be a major participant at ConExpo Latin America, being held October 21 and 24 in Santiago, Chile. The launch of a new compact excavator on wheels and a paver, among other machines, will be announced during a press conference held by the company on October 22, at 2:30 p.m. in room Dona Gloria, second floor at the Espaço Riesco Event and Exhibition Center.
“Latin America is one of the main markets for our brand. We have renewed our commitment to the continent more than once by launching advanced machines that can be deployed in different segments,” said Afrânio Chueire, president of Volvo Construction Equipment Latin America. Volvo CE has currently undertaken a number of actions on the Hispanic market, in which it has increased its product range offered in selected segments.
“Our focus at ConExpo Latin America is on the road building and infrastructure segments, always displaying the state of the art in technology innovation,” said Luciano Rocha, director of Volvo CE Latin America for the Hispanic region.
Volvo CE will have a large display at the fair, with a number of items of equipment in exhibition, in addition to machine simulators. The simulator that will be at ConExpo features advanced technology that allows an impressive experience at the wheel of one of the brand’s articulated hauler or wheel loader. With 750 square meters of space, Volvo CE’s display at ConExpo Latin America is number 621.
