Rogers Group Expands Operations into Northeast Arkansas

Rogers Group Inc. (RGI) has expanded its Arkansas footprint with the acquisition of sister companies Bradley Contracting Inc. and Diamond B. Transport Inc., which owned and operated a limestone quarry and a trucking company, respectively, near Cord, Ark.

“Our Western Division continues to be a major focus for growth opportunities in all RGI business lines. The addition of this quarry and its trucking assets nicely complement RGI’s existing investments in Arkansas,” announced RGI Interim President and CEO Jimmy Patton.

Bradley Contracting and Diamond B Transport together had approximately 35 employees, the majority of whom have now transitioned to key roles with RGI.

“We are thrilled to expand our operations into Northeast Arkansas, increasing our overall capacity to do business in Arkansas. The state of Arkansas has continued to invest heavily in improving infrastructure for its residents. This acquisition will help us capture some of that growth,” noted RGI’s Western Division Vice President Tim Wilson.

Founded in 1908, Rogers Group Inc. is the largest privately owned construction- aggregates company in the U.S., variously offering graded stone, sand and gravel, hot mix asphalt and heavy construction services in 11 states. Although based in Tennessee, RGI entered the Arkansas market more than 30 years ago and now has 13 locations within the state.
