PACA Inducts Chaplin, Martin to Hall of Fame

The Pennsylvania Aggregates and Concrete Association, Pennsylvania’s leading voice for the crushed stone, ready mixed concrete, sand and gravel, and cement industries, inducted two dedicated members into its Ambassadors of the Industry Hall of Fame. This brings the Hall of Fame to over 100 inductees since its start in 2000.
The members of the 2023 Hall of Fame class are:

  • Jerry Chaplin, New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co. Inc.
  • Dan Martin, New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co. Inc.

PACA’s Excellence in Concrete Recognition Awards honored individuals and companies with its Project of the Year and Hank Bauer Captains of Concrete award.

Commercial Construction Project of the Year (Buildings)

  • UPMC Vision Institute – Mercy Pavilion
    • Owner – UPMC
    • Concrete Producer – Frank Bryan Incorporated
    • General Contractor – Mascaro Construction


And, the Hank Bauer Captains of Concrete Award is presented to PACA’s concrete champions of the year. This year’s recipients are Byler Materials Group and Pennsy Supply, a CRH company. 

These companies were selected for their willingness to participate in the national effort between Build with Strength and Habitat for Humanity to build an Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) house in Steelton, Pa.
