Chaney Enterprises has formed Chaney Terminals & Transit (CT&T). This announcement is consistent with Chaney’s strategic growth initiative of creating a terminal network to support the material businesses within its service market.
“Whether by water, rail or truck CT&T will optimize the logistical movements of our key raw materials,” the company stated. “CT&T will assume the responsibility of Chaney Enterprises current transportation operations to include our; dump truck division, tanker hauling network and bulk logistics. These mobile assets, combined with our Seaford Terminal, newly acquired Staunton Terminal, and our Waldorf Terminal will make up CT&T.
“With this strategic focus we are also excited to announce the acquisition of our new deep-water terminal in Chesapeake, Va., located at 1324 McCloud Road, which we will refer to as Chesapeake Terminal,” the company said. “Additional locations to be announced soon, as Chaney looks to continue to complete our network and focus on the efficient transport of our raw material needs.”
