Registration is now open for the 2019 Wisconsin Industrial Sand Association (WISA) Technical Seminar and Membership Meeting. The event will be held Wednesday, Feb. 20, at the Holiday Inn Eau Claire South, 4751 Owen Ayres Court, Eau Claire, Wis., 54701.
The meeting will include presentations by state officials, including lawmakers, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, Wisconsin Department of Revenue and Wisconsin Department of Transportation representatives; Mine Safety and Health Administration representative; leading geology professors; and government relations, legal and other mining and mine service experts.
The agenda includes a political and legislative update, regulatory update, environmental and legal update, safety update and more.
