Chaney Enterprises announced the pending acquisition of Howard Sand & Gravel.
Howard Sand & Gravel is located in Mardela Springs, Md., and has been in business since 1956. Family owned and operated Howard Sand & Gravel has provided local markets with aggregates for many years under the leadership of Joe Beach.
“Chaney Enterprises is excited to bring additional aggregates to help locally serve the growing eastern shore market,” said Francis “Hall” Chaney III, CEO of Chaney Enterprises.
Chaney Enterprises also recently acquired Monumental Concrete and announced a partnership with Chandler Concrete Co Inc.
From its headquarters in Gambrills, Md., Chaney operates more than 100 ready-mix concrete plants and 12 sand and gravel facilities. The company is passionate about creating sustainable facilities, providing environmentally-friendly products, and reclaiming land to restore it for a new purpose.
