J.P. Mitchell has joined Terex MPS as regional sales manager for the Cedarapids, Simplicity and Canica crushing and screening equipment. In this role, he will work closely with the company’s existing distribution network to manage and grow the business in the market area while also looking for further opportunities to expand the business through new distribution opportunities.
This appointment is part of the company’s goal of leading the industry in customer satisfaction, equipment and parts supply, and applications expertise.
Mitchell brings an engineering background and 15 years of aggregate industry experience to the role. After graduating with an engineering degree, his career started with various engineering and sales type roles in the Indiana area. Starting with Aggregate Manufacturing International (AMI) as a design engineer in 2006, Mitchell moved through various departments as engineering manager, project manager, Indiana sales territory manager and operations manager.
Through his experience designing solutions for customers, he has worked with the Terex MPS brands Simplicity and Canica as well as other aggregate manufacturers including Telsmith, Hazemag, Astec, Gator, Allied and more.
