Jan. 12, 2021 – Tilcon Connecticut recently donated $22,000 worth of food to local food pantries in Durham, Wallingford, New Britain and Newington, Conn. The pantries will each receive $2,500 worth of food. Another $12,000 will be donated to food pantries in Plainville and North Branford, Conn., according to news reports. The donations were made possible by Tilcon employees, who worked together to collect the food. Employees at Tilcon’s North Branford location also donated almost $3,000 in Stop & Shop gift cards. “At Tilcon Connecticut, we find the positives by helping others in need around our communities during this crisis. We are fortunate and enriched in more ways than I can say to do for others in such an unprecedented time,” said Tilcon President Gary Wall.
