BKT will showcase its EARTHMAX SR 46 tire at bauma. The tire is “an innovative solution for rigid dumpers operating under adverse conditions in rocky environments such as mines, dams and the construction sites of large building structures,” the company said.
Previously available in the 49-in. version, a new pattern will be officially showcased at bauma in the largest size ever built by BKT, 33.00R51.
EARTHMAX SR 46 features a diameter of 375 centimeters (147.6 in). It is 975 centimeters (383.8 in.) wide and weighs not less than 2,400 kg. (5,291 lb.)
This tire is particularly suitable for transporting heavy loads. It is the best choice in terms of cut-and-chip resistance – a quality that turns into an extended product lifecycle.
