Jordan Sands Opens Two Transload Locations

Jordan Sands has commenced sand transload activities in Monahans and Seagraves, Texas, located in the western part of the state.

“We’re excited to be able to provide our customers with significant sand inventory in locations that best service their needs,” said James Hallbeck, Jordan Sands director of sales.

In order to meet the increasing sand needs of customers, Jordan Sands will have substantial sand storage capacity at both locations.

  • Seagraves will have more than 10,000 tons of rolling and silo storage.
  • Monahans will have 7,000 tons of dedicated storage.

Jordan Sands has also partnered with a leading logistics and project-management firm to provide services directly to the wellhead for those customers looking for additional value added capabilities.

“The Permian is a world class resource that will continue to be America’s leading shale play and our customers are focused there. Our team and partners have worked very hard on putting this opportunity in place for our customers and we anticipate seeing strong demand from these locations going forward,” said Scott Sustacek, Jordan Sands CEO.

Jordan Sands is an affiliate of Coughlan Companies Inc., Mankato, Minn., whose primary business includes children’s book publishing company Capstone, a publisher of children’s books, digital solutions and services, literacy programs, and K-12 professional development resources.
