Magnetic Separators
Eriez magnetic separators are designed to automatically remove large amounts of ferrous from nonferrous materials conveyed in deep burdens on almost any type of conveyor or chute.
Eriez 7000 Series Suspended Electromagnets come with the Eriez Hi-Gradient Circuit to produce maximum-force density at a selected working distance from the magnet face. These also feature a unique external oil expansion tank that helps prevent coil burnout. Select sizes of the 7000 Series equipment are available for next day shipment from the EriezXpress program.
The CP 20/80 Magnetic Separator is a low cost self-cleaning cross belt permanent magnetic separator. This product is in stock and ready to ship the next day with the EriezXpress program.
Metal Detectors
Eriez 1200 Series Metal Detectors detect unwanted metals before they reach downstream equipment. The metal detectors are effective in difficult material handling situations such as detecting large tramp metal and small metal pieces in extremely wet, conductive products or in very heavy burden depths.
All six of the 1200 Series Metal Detector models are rugged, compact and lightweight. Easy to install and maintain, the 1200 Series units are extremely stable and will not false trip when subject to industrial vibration.
Heavy Duty Feeders
Eriez offers three types of heavy-duty vibratory feeders built to perform in the toughest applications.
Electromagnetic Feeders
The patented Eriez Magnetic Drive Circuit incorporates a lifetime permanent magnet (part of a spring-mounted moving mass) whose poles are intermeshed with those of an electromagnet powered directly by an AC line. This results in the spring–mounted moving mass being both attracted and repelled by the AC electromagnet equally on each half of the AC cycle.
Mechanical Feeders
The straightforward design of the HVF series incorporates a standard three phase motor mounted within the base. It is connected by belt to the factory set variable-pitch sheave, which drives the eccentric shaft at approximately 1,100 rpm. The vibratory motion created by the shaft is amplified by the polyisoprene springs to which the tray is connected.
Brute Force Feeders
Eriez’ Brute Force feeders uses twin eccentric shaft heavy duty vibrators mounted to the rear of the feeders. These feeders are ideal for use in quarries, mines and other aggregate settings.
