June 10, 2014 – Volvo Construction Equipment introduced three new products at Flagler Construction Equipment in Tampa: the exclusive Volvo dealer in Florida. Rock Products’ Associate Editor Josephine Smith was on hand for the roll-out. The products were the EC380E excavator, L150H wheel loader and A40G articulated hauler. The EC380E is a 38-metric-ton-class excavator crawler that will be launched in December 2014. To improve safety and visibility, the A40G articulated hauler features orange handrails. The hitch and frame come with a lifetime warranty. The average payload is 46 tons. The L150H along with the L180H and L220H wheel loaders occupy the 25-30 ton weight class. The tier 4 final H-series loaders have been designed for ultimate operator comfort. Internal noise levels are kept to a minimum, while an industry-leading air filter design ensures a clean and unpolluted cab environment. Look for more in an upcoming issue of Rock Products.
