April 4, 2014 – W.S. Tyler has named Douglas Lima as its new service manager. Lima has 34 years of industry experience and has spent the past 16 years as a service technician with W.S. Tyler and its sister company, Haver & Boecker Latino Americana. He earned his engineering degree at the Methodist University of Piracicaba (UNIMEP) in Piracicaba São Paulo, Brazil. “My years as a technician have given me a great depth of knowledge and broad understanding of the industry, what our customers need and what solutions we can provide,” Lima said. “I’m looking forward to using my expertise to help W.S. Tyler continue improving equipment efficiency so we can provide the best possible products and services to our customers.” Lima performs on-site inspections to prevent problems and will be visiting customer sites on a regular basis to collect information on machines so he can develop customized service plans to help customers improve their efficiencies.
