The state of Michigan has awarded Circle Power of Royal Oak a five-year land lease agreement to develop, in association with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR), large-scale solar arrays on two former mine sites.

ODNR’s Abandoned Mine Land Program Wins Award
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources’ (ODNR) Abandoned Mine Land (AML) Program has won the U.S. Department of the Interior’s (USDOI) Abandoned Mine Land Reclamation National Award for its work on the Dessecker Mine Project in Tuscarawas County. ODNR will be honored at the 2019 AML Reclamation Awards in Pittsburgh on Sept. 9.
