The board of directors of the International Society of Explosives Engineers (ISEE) announced that the 47th Annual Conference on Explosives and Blasting Technique has been cancelled. The show was scheduled for Feb. 7-10, 2021, in Orlando. The board came to this decision after considerable research into the viability of hosting a quality conference under the “prevailing conditions.”

Final Rule on Ammonium Nitrate in Effect
A final rule on 27 CFR Part 555 was issued by the Department of Justice, according to the International Society of Explosives Engineers. Beginning May 31, all ammonium nitrate will be subject to the § 555.220 Table of Distances when stored within the sympathetic detonation distances of high explosives and blasting agents listed under the table at § 555.220.
