GCAA Midyear Meeting a Success

The 2025 Georgia Construction Aggregate Association (GCAA) Annual Midyear Meeting was an outstanding success with a record number of attendees this year, the association reported.

The group met at the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, Fla. Both producers and associate members had plenty of time for great interaction – socializing and stellar speaker content.

The Friday business meeting segment consisted presenters which included: Greg Coker, Coker Development, A legislative panel and update with – Senate Majority Leader, Jason Anavitarte – Trey Googe, Yancey Brothers, GCAA Board member and chairman of Competitive Georgia – Joseph Santoro, Georgia Transportation Alliance – Terry Mathews and Jeff Wansley, GCAA lobbyist team – Roger Tutterow Kennesaw State University and Jeff Hollingshead, CEO, SRM Concrete.

Board Chairman Dean Sunas, Vulcan Materials, led the three-day meeting. Sunas ended his two-year term at the end of June. 

The association’s 2026 Annual Midyear Meeting will be held June 25-28, 2026 at the Westin in Hilton Head, S.C.
