McLanahan Corp. announced the launch of its podcast – Groundwork. Released bi-weekly, each Groundwork episode will feature McLanahan subject matter experts and industry guests talking about key material processing topics. From agriculture to mining to material recycling, hosts will discuss the best ways to process the raw materials that power the world, because if it’s not grown, it’s mined.

The first episode was released on Thursday, Feb. 13, titled “How Recycled Aggregates Are Made” and features Neil Mullan, director of sales – C&D Recycling, and Donal McNicholl, director of sales – U.K. & Ireland. The two discuss the best ways of processing construction and demolition waste materials to recover aggregates and the importance of C&D recycling to global sustainability efforts.

Covering a variety of processing topics, upcoming episodes will feature other McLanahan team members talking about tailings management, screening, crusher applications, dairy sand bedding options, and more. Some episodes will feature outside industry guests to lend a variety of insights into these processing topics.

“Podcasts have become such a key way for people to learn and absorb content, and McLanahan has always prided itself on providing educational content,” said Andrea Ritchey, director of global marketing and communications for McLanahan. “We also know that in addition to the traditional desk worker, many of the people in our industries are often on the go. So, whether you’re in a loader or on a tractor, we’re excited to be there with you, talking about the topics that matter most.”

Groundwork will be available on Spotify and Apple, as well as in video format on YouTube and McLanahan’s website, www.mclanahan.com.
