Aug 14, 2025 – Every year I get one big chance to do my star turn. I get to introduce the speaker at the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association’s Young Leaders Luncheon, held during NSSGA’s annual convention and AGG1 and sponsored by Rock Products. This year it was my pleasure to introduce a maker of very unique NFL football commentary, social media star Annie Agar. If you have never seen her videos on Tik Tok, Reels, Instagram, Facebook or elsewhere, you should check them out. We had a great conversation before she took the stage, and while you might expect social media stars to be egotistical and full of themself, nothing could be further from the truth here. Annie was intelligent, engaging, funny and she knows a hell of a lot about football. And having done about 10 of these events, I can say that there has never been as many questions after the talk, and never as many people waiting in line to meet the speaker after. I will forgive her for the shot she took at my beloved, hard-luck Cleveland Browns. Not sure how we will top this next year, but stay tuned.
