MAA Awards Leaders in Safety, Environment, Community Engagement

As part of its 2025 Winter Conference held at Firekeepers Casino in Battle Creek, Mich., the Michigan Aggregates Association (MAA) announced the winners of its Environmental Awards, Community Relations Awards and Safety Awards. The awards are part of MAA’s annual celebration of industry leaders in environmental stewardship, community support and safe work sites.

All MAA members are eligible to win the awards.

2024 MAA Environmental Award Winners

The MAA Environmental Award is given to facilities that show great care and responsibility in protecting the environment. Aggregate mining is safe and clean because limiting environmental impact is a priority for all MAA members.

The MAA Safety Award is given to work sites that report no safety violations or accidents throughout the year. Safety is of the utmost importance and it shows in the dozens of safe sites acknowledged every year. Multiple winning companies accomplished the safety designation at multiple sites.
