It’s time once again for the aggregates industry’s premier event. Registration is now open for AGG1 Academy & Expo, co-located with the World of Asphalt Show & Conference, running March 25-27, 2025, at the America’s Center Convention Complex in St. Louis.

“We are thrilled to open registration for the World of Asphalt and AGG1 Academy & Expo,” said World of Asphalt Show Director Brittany Schmidtke. “After the success of last year’s event, we are fully committed to delivering an even more dynamic and informative experience for our attendees. We encourage everyone in the industry to take advantage of the early registration to secure their spot at the forefront of asphalt innovation.”

With more than 430 exhibitors and more than 230,000 sq. ft. of exhibits and 120 educational sessions, the 2025 show is expected to be among the biggest in its history.

Held two out of every three-years (it is not held during ConExpo-Con/Agg years), AGG1 is the aggregates industry’s leading exposition and education resource. AGG1 features in-depth industry-focused educational programming and comprehensive exhibits that showcase the latest technologies and innovations in aggregates-related equipment, products and services.

Also held every year except during ConExpo-Con/Agg years, World of Asphalt is the leading trade show and conference focused on the asphalt and paving industries, and was previously recognized by Trade Show Executive as one of the “Fastest 50” growing trade shows. The show features the best education, and latest equipment, products, services and technologies for the asphalt and paving industries.

“The AGG1 Academy and Expo is the leading tradeshow and educational program for the aggregates industry,” said Michele Stanley, interim CEO, NSSGA. “It provides a unique environment for all members to convene, connect and network. The 2025 show in St. Louis will feature 430 exhibitors and 120 education sessions, allowing all NSSGA members to develop and strengthen their relationships, see the latest technology and learn best-practices to take home to their own facilities.”

Industry manufacturers are looking forward to the show.

Peter Kilmurray, vice president of sales at Haver & Boecker Niagara’s North American operation, told Rock Products that “company representatives will be attending AGG1 and are looking forward to being in St. Louis for the show. In addition to our booth space, where we plan to showcase a portable plant with our Niagara F-class, we will be presenting an educational session about maximizing equipment productivity with diagnostics. Our experts are excited for the opportunity to speak about how our solutions work with aggregates producers’ equipment to ensure everything is running optimally,” he said.

Johnnie Garrison, vice president of sales, Superior Industries, said, “We look forward to celebrating our shared success and to showcase some of our gear in St. Louis. The highlight of our booth will be a 51 x 55 Sentry Horizontal Shaft Impact Crusher.”

“We will be at AGG1 in St. Louis,” said Tod Eberle, vice president of sales, Polydeck “Even though 2024 may have been a slow year, producers seem healthy and ready for 2025. The year 2024 [was] very positive for Polydeck and we feel like 2025 will be even better. The market is healthy, and we continue to expand our products every year.”

Josh Swank, vice president of sales and marketing, Philippi-Hagenbuch opined, “We will be attending AGG1 and are looking forward to presenting an educational seminar at the show. It will be an exciting opportunity to cover water tank features that optimize dust suppression on haul roads and stockpiles in quarries, along with best practices, case studies and practical solutions to empower aggregates producers with cost-effective dust control strategies.”

Ryan O’Loan, business development manager, CDE Group said, “CDE will be both exhibiting and speaking at AGG1 in March as part of a panel of waste recycling champions under its Environmental & Sustainability education track.”

More than 120 educational sessions – including 60 aggregates sessions – will be offered, divided into topic categories:

Operations and Production – Learn about virtually every aspect of plant operations, production, and equipment maintenance, from 101-level courses to the latest technologies, processes and products used to produce aggregates and manage fleets in creative and innovative ways.

Safety and Health – These sessions demonstrate best practices and techniques for the aggregates industry to be efficient, safe, and maintain the health of our workforce.

Business and People Management – Running an aggregates operation is about more than equipment and processes. These classes focus on the business of your operation, including understanding business and financial principles, working with the surrounding community, and ways to market and sell your product.

Environment and Sustainability – Learn ways the aggregates industry can enhance and improve our environmental stewardship, comply with the latest federal and state regulations and standards, and adopt sustainable practices to ensure our businesses continue to grow and thrive.

Women in Aggregates is a new group dedicated to supporting women working in the aggregates industry. The Mission Statement of the group is: “To create a supportive space for women that fosters leadership growth, networking opportunities and advocacy of the aggregate industry.” At AGG1, Women in Aggregates will feature a panel discussion, “Tech-Savvy Women: Driving Operational Success.” For more information contact Josephine Patterson at [email protected].
