GCC Acquires Three Aggregates Operations in Texas

GCC, S.A.B. de C.V., a producer of cement and concrete in the United States and Mexico, announced the acquisition of three pure-play aggregates operations in Texas, for approximately $100 million, subject to potential customary post-closing adjustments. The company acquired Alta Rock operations in Midland-Odessa, Texas, and operations located in Dallas-Fort Worth and San Antonio from Simpson Crushed Stone.

These assets add more than 4 million tons of annual production capacity and more than 50 years of proven, high-quality reserves to GCC’s portfolio. The acquisitions strengthen GCC’s presence in key regions for growth and infrastructure development.

“These acquisitions mark an important milestone in our strategy to expand into key growth markets,” said Enrique Escalante, GCC’s CEO. “This move not only expands our product offering but also underscores our commitment to value-creating M&A initiatives.”

By integrating these operations, GCC continues to position itself as a leader in providing high-quality construction materials across strategic markets.

GCC is a supplier and producer of cement, concrete, aggregates and construction‐related services in the United States and Mexico, with an annual cement production capacity of 6 million metric tons.
