Sunroc Corp. Acquires Edge Excavation and Edge Trucking

Sunroc Corp., a subsidiary of Clyde Companies Inc., has acquired Edge Excavation and Edge Trucking. Sunroc specializes in construction services and supplies concrete, asphalt, aggregate, masonry and other construction materials. The company will operate under the Sunroc name as it expands operations in northern Utah.

“Edge Excavation and Edge Trucking is the perfect addition to the Sunroc family,” said Mark Elder, president of Sunroc. “This acquisition allows us to enhance our capabilities and provide even greater value to our customers as we widen our footprint in Cache Valley and northern Utah.”

Based in Logan, Utah, Edge Excavation and Edge Trucking does work from Preston, Idaho, to Brigham City, Utah. The company has done major projects for many well-known organizations including The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Beaver Mountain Resort, Utah State University, Utah Department of Transportation and the City of Logan. 

The acquisition includes experienced personnel of nearly 100 full-time employees.

Sunroc currently has projects and operations in Arizona, Idaho, Nevada, Utah and Wyoming.
