Aug. 28, 2024 – The National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) Young Leaders held a Meet Up in Atlanta on Aug. 20-21. The event – held with the support of the Georgia Construction Aggregate Association – provided a regional opportunity for young aggregate leaders to conference and network. The two-day event included roundtable discussions and tours of local facilities. The Atlanta meeting included a tour of the Komatsu Training facility and Luck Stone Quarry in Atlanta. The Tuesday afternoon kick off included a roundtable discussion on political and community engagement. Young Leaders Chairman, Brendan Deveraux, Summit Materials, welcomed the group and led a panel discussion with John Hay, CRH, and Jeff Wansley, GCAA. The group also attended an Atlanta Braves baseball game that evening.
