York Building Products acquired Union Quarries, a Carlisle, Pa.-based manufacturer of crushed stone, asphalt and ready-mix concrete products.

York Building Products is a subsidiary of the Stewart Companies, a York, Pa.-based, family-owned group of companies serving the construction, materials, real estate, automotive and outdoor media industries.
Union Quarries, founded in 1961 in Carlisle, Pa., has been a family-run business since its inception. Union manufactures crushed limestone products and operates hot mix asphalt and ready-mix concrete plants, providing their products within the greater Harrisburg, Pa. marketplace.
