AggMaps Launches Digital Marketplace for Construction Aggregates

AggMaps announced the launch of its website and digital marketplace. With more than 25,000 quarries, pits, landfills and dumps mapped in the U.S., AggMaps simplifies the time-consuming task of sourcing, delivering and purchasing construction aggregates.

AggMaps brings additional transparency, efficiency, and productivity gains to a historically inefficient marketplace – the sourcing and transporting of construction aggregates. The COVID era has unleashed unrivaled price increases in both aggregate material costs as well as trucking transportation costs. It has never been more important to locate the best material at the best price nearest the construction job site stated Eric Dance, founder.

The website allows end users to quickly identify and locate:

• Quarries and pits producing construction aggregates including crushed stone, construction sand & gravel, and recycled aggregates.
• Landfills, concrete & asphalt dumps, and dirt dumps.
• Locations, typically construction job sites, that have either excess dirt (and other construction aggregates) to dispose of or need additional dirt (and other construction aggregates) to be imported.

AggMaps displays detailed price lists for each onboarded location and enables delivery of materials with commercial aggregate trucks (including, but not limited to, tandem, end dumps, and demo trailers). AggMaps is currently displaying detailed price lists for more than 700 locations.

Upon launch, AggMaps is initially focused on Texas including the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Houston, San Antonio, and Austin with plans to rapidly expand to other metros around the United States

In partnership with existing trucking companies, the aggregates and trucking can be purchased together with credit terms (net 30-60) typical in the construction industry.
