Great Lakes Shipments Rise
Dec. 16, 2021 – There is a lot of activity right now on those five big puddles of water. Shipments of limestone on the Great Lakes totaled 3.3 million tons in November, an increase of 16.8% compared to a year ago. Limestone cargos were 18.4% above the month’s five-year average.
