Turner Awarded Association for Corporate Growth Award

Mining services contractor Turner Mining Group, Bloomington, Ind., was named an Association for Corporate Growth Indiana “Corporate Value Award” winner for 2020, meaning that it was among companies that created the greatest corporate value benefit to employees, customers, suppliers and community over the past year. Economic growth, financial growth and job growth were all considered.

“Our focus has been on driving our company purpose, ‘to make life better for the mining industry’ and because of that we believe we have created great value for employees, customers and the communities we live and work in,” said Turner President Keaton Turner. “We are honored to receive this award.”

Recognized as a fast-growing mining services provider, Turner Mining Group seeks to become the first national player in a fragmented industry. Founded in 2017 by Keaton Turner, Gant Elmore and Lauren Elmore, the company has achieved rapid scale in the first three years.

One of Turner’s competitive advantages is the ability to attract a high volume of employees via social media and a “people first” corporate culture. Additionally, mine owners are often strategically focused on acquiring competitors and new mineral rights, therefore outsourcing mining activities. Turner Mining Group is positioned to take advantage of this with coast-to-coast mobilization capabilities and a diverse set of mine services offerings.

Turner Mining Group specializes in staffing and managing a full suite of mining services that meet specific client needs, no matter the project(s) size or location of work. Turner Mining Group was started by Turner in 2017 and has been rapidly growing to meet market demand.
