Granite Sustainability Progress Report Wins Award

Granite announced that its 2019 Sustainability Progress Report was awarded Gold by MerComm in its 2020 Annual Report Competition (ARC). Granite’s 2019 Sustainability Progress Report encompasses its comprehensive set of goals including corporate social responsibility, environmental stewardship and responsible governance.

It provides an evaluation of the company’s current program with an eye toward improvement to manage its business with the future in mind by building infrastructure that improves quality of life.

Granite was the only North American company to win Gold in its category.

The International ARC Awards, now in its 34th year, is the “Academy Awards of Annual Reports,” according to the financial media. The awards are globally recognized, providing a platform for the highest standards in the annual report industry. It is the world’s largest international competition honoring excellence in annual reports.

The competition is open to corporations, small companies, government agencies, non-profit organizations and associations, as well as agencies and individuals involved in producing annual reports. Winning an ARC is one of the leading accolades in the investor-relations industry.
