McLanahan and Anaconda Offer J12 Jaw, I12 Impact Crushers

Anaconda Crusher J12 2

One of the primary reasons McLanahan Corp. and Anaconda Equipment joined forces in 2019 was for both companies to be able to expand their product offering and global reach. In 2020, they announced the addition of their unique track-mounted J12 Jaw Crusher and I12 Impact Crushers, which feature McLanahan’s Universal crushers.

The J12 Tracked Jaw Crusher is fitted with a 44-in. (1,100-mm) x 26-in. (700-mm) direct hydraulic drive Universal Jaw Crusher. The chamber comes with full hydraulic adjustment and hydraulic tramp release and reset as standard. Utilizing a direct hydraulic drive means the unit can also be run in reverse to satisfy a multitude of customer applications.

The I12 Tracked Impact Crusher is fitted with a fabricated 43-in. (1,090-mm) diameter 4-bar rotor on a 45-in. (1,140-mm) wide Universal Crusher Impact crusher. Large access doors are on the side, back and top of the chamber, and a hydraulic opening upper section of the housing gives easy and safe access. Two independent, gravity-hung impact curtains can be individually adjusted from the exterior of the chamber.

The unique part of these two new track crushers is that they are on a generic chassis that allows for the placement of either crushing chamber, giving dealers and customers immense flexibility. The machine can be converted from a Jaw to an Impactor and vice versa in minimal time. The generic chassis is powered by a Cummins engine and comes with a 14-ft. (4.3-m) variable speed vibrating grizzly feeder, hydraulic hopper wing extensions, an overband magnet and side discharge dirt belt all as standard.

The J12/I12 Crushing range have shown the proven ability to deal with the most harsh and strenuous crushing conditions. The versatility allows the crusher to deal with hard and abrasive rock such as basalt and granite. The aim of the crushers is to allow ease of use and productivity to the customer, allowing them to receive the best value for their money.

Fully pre-tested before dispatch, the J12/I12 arrives on site in its transport position. It is estimated that the crusher can be fully operational within 20 minutes of delivery on site.
