On Aug. 20, representatives from CB Con-Agg, a division of Cleveland Brothers, visited H&K Group Inc.’s corporate office in Skippack, Pa., to meet with H&K’s executive management team. CB Con-Agg wished to formally recognize H&K’s ownership, maintenance and operation of one of the first Metso HP300 cone crushers in existence.
In the early summer of 2019, H&K’s Materials Division was informed that it had an incredibly unique Metso HP300 Cone Crusher in its fleet. A main cog in H&K’s operations, this crusher began its life in the early 1980s at onetime-H&K operating location, Jamico Materials, in Jim Thorpe, Pa. It is presently still crushing stone at H&K’s Locust Ridge Quarry facility in Pocono Lake, Pa.
Metso, manufacturer of the HP300, recently celebrated the 30th anniversary of its HP cone production by marking its 10,000th crusher delivered globally. Through CB Con-Agg, a Metso supplier/distributor, Metso chose to recognize H&K for owning/operating one of the very first of these 10,000 crushers.
H&K extended its congratulations to both Metso, for building one of the finest cone crushers on the market, and CB Con-Agg, for keeping H&K running all these years. H&K also commended its Materials Division for operating and maintaining this HP300, a pillar of the corporation’s crushed stone production operations.
