Lehigh Hanson Tests Technology Solution for Trucking

Lehigh Hanson Inc., has selected Trelar Logistics Inc., for a pilot program to help modernize the company’s aggregates delivery capacity, booking and scheduling of trucks. The pilot will include Lehigh Hanson’s truck partners.

Trelar is a vocational trucking marketplace that connects dump truck owners directly to producers and contractors via a state-of-the-art application, therefore increasing transparency and reducing delays. In addition to the efficient booking process, Trelar also provides users tracking, real-time data and automated payments.

“The decision to pilot Trelar’s technology is a key milestone in our digital transformation,” said Phillip Holland, vice president of sales and marketing for Lehigh Hanson. “We are enthused and very optimistic about Trelar’s scalable, cloud-based solution, as well as their vision of how digitalization is and can be applied in the construction materials industry. Using Trelar’s platform, our carriers will be able to schedule their deliveries and availability, as well as improve their cash-flow. All of this is designed to help drivers better manage their business.”

Implementing the Trelar platform into the business model and streamlining the day to day booking and scheduling processes will reduce costs for Lehigh Hanson and increase proximity to its customers and partners. Trelar will begin the pilot for Lehigh Hanson this month with initial installations across three markets: Seattle, Phoenix and Central California.

“We believe we are at an exciting turning point in the industrial era. Trelar is honored to be playing a role in the construction industry’s shift toward increased digitization that will lead to efficiency gains, improved customer engagement and competitiveness,” said Gary Clarke, founder and CEO of Trelar. “Trelar is going to help lead that transformation with clients like Lehigh Hanson and our other flagship clients.”
