Wirtgen Group hosted more than 1,200 customers, dealers and members of the trade press, including Rock Products’ Associate Editor Josephine Patterson, in Nashville for its Technology Days North America 2018.

The two-day event included a self-guided tour of the newly renovated Center of Training and Technology (CTT) and live demonstrations of machines from the company’s four product brands – Wirtgen, Vögele, Hamm and Kleemann – highlighting efficient and streamlined processes for road construction and rehabilitation.

“With our corporate office here in Nashville, and working closely with our 35 dealers in hundreds of locations, we have been growing steadily to be your solid and strong partner in the construction industry, and always be ‘Close to our Customers’,” said Jim McEvoy, president and CEO of Wirtgen America.

Originally built in 2009, the newly expanded CTT offers nine classrooms, five technology rooms, two lecture halls, and year-round training programs. Interactive displays highlight the latest innovations from the company.
