Masaba Inc., a U.S. manufacturer of innovative aggregate material handling solutions, recently held two separate dealer network training events at its Vermillion, S.D., facility. Nearly 60 members of Masaba’s authorized dealer network and other guests attended the events.
The company’s dealer training was a way to give attendees the opportunity to see the equipment in action and gain first-hand experience in the manufacturing process. Factory tours, networking opportunities and equipment demonstrations were the focus of the training.
Of particular note was the demonstrations of a Masaba Magnum Telescoping Conveyor. One of the key features of the Magnum is the patented Track Technology – the only one of its kind on the market today – making it the safest telescoping conveyor in the industry, according to the manufacturer. Other improvements to the Magnum include switching the festoon track to chain, upgrading to ultra-sonic pile sensors, rewritten programs, an upgraded HMI interface for ease of use, and standard programs being upgradeable to a multi-pile program.
