22 AGG1 400The 2016 AGG1 Academy & Expo is coming up fast. The event takes place in Nashville, March 22-24, once again co-located with the National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association (NSSGA) Annual Convention and World of Asphalt Show & Conference.

AGG1 is the leading exposition and educational resource targeted specifically to the aggregates industry. It features in-depth industry-focused educational programming and comprehensive exhibits that showcase the latest technologies and innovations in aggregates-related equipment, products and services.

“We have one opportunity each year to come together not only as an association, but as an industry,” said Pamela Bouchard, NSSGA’s vice president, membership and meetings. “NSSGA’s AGG1 Academy & Expo continues to shape up to be this association’s most exciting event ever,” she told Rock Products.

Attendees

The AGG1 Academy & Expo is geared to the decision-makers and buyers from the companies that produce the vast majority of crushed stone, sand and gravel in the marketplace, including company owners, senior managers, plant managers, superintendents, regional managers, engineers, technical professionals and safety managers.

Expo

AGG1 is the best opportunity you’ll have all year to experience the latest equipment and technology, learn from leading industry experts, and network with thousands of your industry peers: all in one place, all at one time.

Leading aggregates and asphalt equipment suppliers will demonstrate tools, technologies and techniques that will help drive down costs and increase efficiency. It’s an unprecedented opportunity for you to experience all that is new in technology and equipment under one roof.

“Our expo show floor continues to grow and break previous records with overwhelming support from our aggregates Manufacturers & Services members,” Bouchard told Rock Products. “The AGG1 Academy & Expo and World of Asphalt will feature more than 350 leading manufacturers and service providers showcasing their newest products and technologies. There will be over 170 aggregates-specific vendors on site. Some of the must-see exhibits showcase new drone, mobile and inventory technologies, just to name a few.”

“This year’s AGG1 Academy includes more than 50 courses offering practical and in-depth lessons specific to the aggregates industry,” Bouchard said.

AGG1 Academy Tracks include:

NSSGA Convention

NSSGA also holds its Annual Convention in conjunction with AGG1, which includes two general sessions open to AGG1 attendees featuring some exciting keynote presenters.

“Since we are in Nashville, it would be a missed opportunity if we didn’t get to enjoy some country music,” Bouchard said. “So we will kick off this year’s event with an Opening Celebration concert featuring country music stars Phil Vassar and Maggie Rose. No other industry event offers more aggregates-focused exhibits, education sessions and networking opportunities – all in one place, all at one time.”
