Geneva Rock Products Acquires Wilkinson Construction

Geneva Rock Products Inc. has purchased the assets of Wilkinson Construction Co. Inc., a civil construction entity specializing in aggregate production, road construction and pavement maintenance.

In this asset acquisition, Geneva Rock Products has purchased Wilkinson Construction Company’s asphalt plant, mobile asphalt pavement equipment, mobile asphalt preservation and maintenance equipment, aggregate extraction and processing property and equipment, as well as the related real property assets from an affiliated company.

“As the owners of Wilkinson Construction Co., we feel that Geneva Rock Products shares a similar legacy of quality construction and commitment to community building that has long since been a standard for our business,” said John Wilkinson, president of Wilkinson Construction Co.

Wilkinson Construction Co. was organized in 1947 by brothers John Henry Wilkinson, Cole Wilkinson, and Bert Wilkinson. Their more than 65 year legacy was founded upon hard work, steadfast integrity and dedication to the community they serve.

Over the years the company has been known for work on various large projects, including Morgan County road improvements and Hill Air Force Base. The company was most recently operated and managed by John, Dan and Stuart Wilkinson, descendants of the original co-owners.

“We are excited to carry on the tradition of quality service and hard work in Northern and Eastern Utah,” said Jim Golding, president of Geneva Rock Products.

Geneva Rock Products currently operates out of more than 30 facilities throughout the Wasatch Front. Geneva Rock Products is a subsidiary of the Clyde Companies, which employs 2,500 professionals in the Intermountain West.
