The new site, www.atlascopcousastores.com, will have easy-to-navigate equipment listings, allow customers to request parts and communicate with the service department.

Whether it is new or used drill rigs, air compressors or paving equipment, the new website will make searching for information and contacting regional stores convenient.

Rob Root, Atlas Copco USA vice president of product support and mining stores, said, “Our regionally located stores ensure that our customers receive the best product support. Atlas Copco offers several programs to reduce operating costs while maximizing productivity. The new website makes it easy for customers to review several options and programs to ensure their success.”

“Each store focuses on what customers in its region need,” said Ed Greer, regional and store manager of the Tucson and Phoenix Atlas Copco stores. “So our site will show them our expertise in their field, whether they work in construction or mining.”

Greer said, “I’m especially looking forward to the used equipment listing so people can see what we have without having to come to our yard. We want to make it as easy as possible for customers to see what we have to offer.”

Atlas Copco has store locations in Arizona (Phoenix and Tucson), California (Sacramento and Temecula), Colorado (Denver), Florida (Miami), Georgia (Atlanta), Maryland (Abingdon), Massachusetts (Ludlow), Nevada (Elko), Pennsylvania (Clarks Summit), Tennessee (Knoxville and Nashville), and Wisconsin (Milwaukee).

Atlas Copco was also listed as the top industrial company in this year’s Newsweek Green Rankings. The rankings look at corporate sustainability and environmental impact. Atlas Copco ranked 11th among 500 of the world’s largest publicly-traded companies accessed for the rating, and top in the industrial segment.

Newsweek teamed with research partners Corporate Knights Capital and HIP Investors Inc. to compare key performance indicators such as energy and water use, greenhouse gas emissions and waste recycling.

Earlier this year, Atlas Copco was also among those recognized by the United Nations at the agency’s major conference on climate change for the Atlas Copco’s goals to cut carbon dioxide from its products and operations.

The Newsweek Green Rankings also factor the company’s general sustainability. Atlas Copco had been recognized earlier this year as one of the world’s most sustainable companies in the annual Global 100 list.
