Precision Pulley and Idler (PPI) acquired R.A.S. Industries Ltd. (RAS) of Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, effective Aug. 31, 2015. RAS is a leading manufacturer of engineered conveyor pulleys.
RAS has earned a reputation for building large conveyor pulleys for use in the most demanding applications around the world. Its focused expertise and relationships in the mining industry will be an asset for future growth for both companies, according to PPI.
