More than 150 dealers gathered in Charlotte, N.C., for Terex Finlay’s Eastern U.S. dealer meeting and product demonstration. A similar event was held earlier this year in San Francisco.
Terex Finlay introduced two new machines to the North American market: the J-960 jaw crusher and the 873 heavy duty screener. Two additional machines that had their debut in San Francisco were seen for the second time at the event: the C-1545 cone crusher and the J-1170AS jaw.
Other machines on-hand were 883+ heavy duty screen, the J-1175 jaw crusher, the 664 inclined screen, the I-110RS impact crusher, and the 883+ Spaleck.
“We are very pleased with the turn-out for this event,” said Brian Pauley, Terex Finlay marketing manager. “In addition to the new machines we are showing, there are a number of other Finlay products that our dealers and their customers are going to find very interesting.”
Pauley gave special emphasis to the company’s growing relationship with vibrating-screen manufacturer Spaleck. “The addition of Spaleck screens to our machines is a huge plus for us,” he said. “Spaleck is in a class of its own. Its processing capabilities and application flexibility take our machines to the next level.”
The demonstration portion of the event was held at a Greenway Waste facility in nearby Concord, N.C.
Also on-hand for the event was Rik Kiddle, Terex Finlay’s new sales director and manager of global business development. He comes to the company after a 25-year career at JCB.
“I am really looking forward to this new opportunity,” Kiddle said. “The Terex Finlay product line is exceptional, and with a solid dealer network in place in North America, we are poised for great success.”
