New Dayton Lamina hydraulic drills are compact enough to fit into narrow openings, yet they have the power for heavy duty drilling and tapping operations, making them ideal for various mining applications.74 Dayton 400

Designed to fit openings as narrow as 9 ¼-in., they are perfect for work in tight quarters. The magnetic base attaches to the drilling surface at almost any angle, including vertical and horizontal. With a combination of power and versatility, these proven drills can be used for a wide range of applications including mining, construction, bridge building, rental facilities, heavy construction and more.

Six interchangeable drill heads, with quick disconnects, are available. Drill heads can be fixture mounted for special applications, and can be specified without the magnetic base. Manual and manual/automatic power feed drill head models are available.

Suitable for indoor or outdoor usage, the Lamina power unit is caster mounted for easy movement to and within the jobsite. Each unit includes 15 ft. of hydraulic hoses on the power unit and an additional 7-½ ft. of hydraulic hose on the drill head. Quick disconnect fittings ensure fast and easy assembly.

Remote speed control pendant is standard. Available in 220V, 440V or 600V at 60Hz, or 380V/50Hz (for export). Standard model is 44.5-in. long x 24.5-in. wide x 54.5-in. tall (compact units also available with smaller dimensions and without hose reel or shelf). Maximum flow rate is 12 gpm, standard operating pressure is 1550-1600 psi.

Service and support is provided through the company’s extensive technical support network. A rental program on units is designed to fit around scheduled maintenance breaks or short-term projects and repairs.
