October 28, 2013 – The Association of Equipment Manufacturers(AEM) announced all domestic policy advocacy efforts on behalf of the equipment manufacturing industry will now be integrated under the I Make America banner. I Make America began as a national grassroots campaign and now has nearly 30,000 supporters across the country that advocate to dramatically increase jobs for America’s equipment manufacturers. As part of the integration, I Make America launched a brand new website that can be viewed here. “The I Make America campaign has proven highly effective since its launch in 2010, and the brand has earned recognition among our members and throughout the manufacturing and public affairs communities,” said AEM President Dennis Slater. “We are streamlining the ways I Make America and AEM advocate for jobs and bring the industry together for greater influence in order to best tell the story of our industry and manufacturing to Members of Congress.”
