Thunder Creek Equipment developed a double-wall fuel tank and trailer combination that is compliant with the EPA’s SPCC Program as well as DOT406 and Transport Canada regulations. The double wall tank design provides 110 percent fuel containment with a 990-gal. fuel tank mounted inside a protective secondary tank. The pumping system, fill ports and vents are also located within the secondary tank, thereby securing the fuel supply behind two lockable, hatch-style doors. Used alone, the tank is a secure, on-site solution for storing and dispensing fuel. Used in conjunction with a trailer base also available from Thunder Creek, it becomes a mobile fueling station. Features like four fuel surge baffles, a rugged 8-in. C-channel chassis and torsion axles streamline transporting fuel between job sites. The utility of the double wall tank and trailer can be extended with a Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) delivery system. The system incorporates an ISO 22241 compliant DEF tank and a patent-pending 2-in-1 pumping system.
