Volvo Tests 5G Remote-Control, Autonomous Solutions

The 5G mobile network will be used at Volvo CE’s research and development facility at Eskilstuna, Sweden, to further develop solutions for remote control of construction machinery and fully automated solutions. It will also be used to increase understanding of how connected machines can create added value for the customer.

Graniterock Solar Panels Earn Clean Air Leader Award

Installing 3,000 solar panels at Graniterock’s A. R. Wilson Quarry did more than roll back the meter last year. Graniterock was recognized as a clean air champion by the Monterey Bay Air Resources District in California due in part to the company’s use of solar as an alternative energy source.
