Trelleborg Wheel Systems unveiled its Total Value of Ownership (TVO) program for the construction industry. TVO focuses on the value delivered to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), construction dealers and machine owners when choosing Trelleborg as their supplier of tires and tracks.
According to Ydo Doornbos, managing director of Trelleborg Wheels Americas Inc., different customer groups have different requirements from their products and suppliers. “For OEM’s, it’s about a choice that reinforces the quality of their machines,” he said. “For dealers, it’s about meeting their customer’s needs for quality products and finding a reliable partner to work with. For the machine owners, it’s about products that deliver and represent the best return on their spend. We are really excited about taking this successful approach from our materials-handling business and applying it to our constructions side.”
Trelleborg has increased its focus on the construction tire and track business to meet increasing customer demand. It offers a complete range of products for construction machinery from the tough C-800 pneumatic tires and rubber tracks, to the Brawler range of large solid Off the Road (OTR) tires, as used in the world’s toughest construction environments.
