Kolberg-Pioneer Features GT440 Hybrid Mobile Horizontal Shaft Impactor

Kolberg-Pioneer Inc. (KPI) launched its latest patent-pending hybrid technology in its GT440 mobile horizontal shaft impactor (HSI). The GT440’s full line features a 42 x 40 HSI crusher, which can be offered in a 3- or 4-bar rotor configuration, allowing the end user to choose the best solution for the application.

Caterpillar Offers Cat Payload

The latest technology addition from Caterpillar is Cat Payload. Introduced last year on the 336F L XE, the system calculates load weight as the operator swings the bucket toward the truck with no interruption in the loading cycle.

Komatsu Introduces New Off-Highway Trucks

Komatsu introduced the new HD325-8 and HD405-8 off-highway trucks. Equipped with an EPA Tier 4 Final certified engine, they feature increased horsepower and a new Komatsu Traction Control System (KTCS) to achieve improved productivity. Payload capacities are 40.3 U.S. (short)/36.5 metric tons and 44.1 U.S. (short)/40 metric tons, respectively. They replace the HD325-7 and HD405-7 models.

Boart Longyear Launches Global Training Program

Boart Longyear launched its new global training program for drilling supervisors, drillers, driller assistants, mechanics, welders, manufacturing and other front-line employees. The training is based on the Australian Resources and Infrastructure Industry training requirements, the United States Mine Safety and Health Administration standards and the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety standards, customized for Boart Longyear specific rigs, equipment and tooling.
