Keestrack Showcases Full-Electric Tracked Processing Line

Keestrack showed its full-electric tracked processing line at Fredheim Demo Days in Spydeberg, Norway. Machines on-site included the B4e jaw crusher with stacker S5e; the H4e cone with three-deck-after-screen module; and two-deck-classifier K3e for five end-product fractions.

Volvo X1 Prototype Hauler Wins Awards

The X1 prototype autonomous, battery-electric, load carrier from Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) won the International Quality Innovation Award and the Innovation of Innovations Award. In December, the HX1 was awarded the Swedish Institute for Quality’s (SIQ) Quality Innovation of the Year Award in the Potential Innovations category. On winning this accolade, it qualified to enter the international part of the competition along with approximately 100 other finalists.

The new Cat MD6250 blasthole drill delivers optimum drilling efficiency in single- and multi-pass applications for both rotary and down-the-hole (DTH) modes. Featuring automated operation, the drill runs within ideal operating parameters for maximum bit life, hole accuracy and reduced total cost of ownership. A sculpted frame design boasts heavy cross-bracing in high-load areas for maximum machine longevity. The machine’s four leveling jacks, mast pivot and deck are welded integrally to the main frame for maximum durability.
