Case Construction Equipment debuted its largest wheel loader, the 1221E. Case also offered an elaborate spectacle featuring pop stars, dancers and confetti. Before we left, they had us singing “Case, Case, Case.”

It was hard to miss Amelia sports lime-green hair in front of Major Wire’s booth. She and her cohort, Meda, were busy promoting the company’s new screen media, Flex-Thane.

Robin B. Slonina of SkinCity Body Painting was hard at work tagging the arms of attendees with the Hardox slogan, “HARDOX in my body.” The company says the sign is a guarantee that its wear steel has the unique properties to assure the highest quality in terms of resistance to wear and cracking.

The Hyundai girls were a major draw and an integral part of the company’s version of the “Deal or No Deal” game show. Lucky contestants walked off with cash and other prizes.

Attendees lined up to have their pictures taken with this Komatsu model standing in the bucket of its WA 800. The ConExpo visitor photos are available at the company’s Komatsu Web site.

This blue show girl is only slightly more extravagant than the yellow NorAm 65E compact motor grader that was on display in the Central Hall.

There were plenty of people digging the giant statues near the outside entrance of ConExpo.

Plenty of racing fans were found poking around the Nascar on display in the Shell Lubricants booth.

Superior Industries debuted its Exterra primary belt-cleaner system and a new sealing system, but nothing overshadowed the 42-inch x 170-foot TeleStacker, which was displayed in the South Lot.

Much of the machinery, such as this Terex Pegson XA750 Jaw Crusher, was too massive to capture on film. This is the company’s largest crusher to date and features the Jaques WJ3254 single-toggle jaw crusher with an unrestricted 1,400 X 800 feed opening.
