Lippmann-Milwaukee’s portable 4818 prime mover is self-contained with wheels and a 4248 horizontal-shaft impact crusher. The impactor has a three-bar steel rotor with a locking device and hydraulic hood. The plant features a Lippmann 48-in. x 45-ft folding-conveyor and a 16- x 6-ft double-deck inclined vibrating screen. There are two 24-in. cross conveyors, a 48-in. under-screen fines conveyor and a 24-in. return conveyor. The operator’s platform has electronic motor controls built onto a chassis with hydraulic leveling legs. The plant is powered by a Cummins 460-hp diesel engine with a 350-kW generator.
